Bringing a MacBook back to life Symphony

A week ago I purchased a 3-year-old MacBook.

Running on Tiger, scratches and beat up like it got flushed down the bronx, and running on only 1Gb ram (GEEK ZOMG!), I tried to bring it back to its days when it was sexy.

This vid production was created from the same Macbook, so it's safe to say this little refurbishment was successful ;) . Oh yeaaaa... sexy(riiighhhttt...) handy man in da house!

A useless piece of equipment with your iPhone, Sir?

Source: Engadget

Seriously, who in the right mind would purchase such an accessory? I guess the common earpiece doesn't suffice anymore.

A convenient way of getting cancer, might I add.

(I don't think the guy in the photo was part of the development, but the fact that he has that over his skull just gets me frustrated!)

Gone Viral: A Tune To Loneliness in Chat Roulette

Our great brutha, Giff, shared this this morning. Why I found the need to mention the time he posted it, I'll never know. Follow him @giffordyap.

We love innovation. This was produced by PianoChatImprov, and he (and his team, if any) gave Chat Roulette a better(and less dirty) view point.

He plays and sings on his piano impromptu to whatever that reflects the person he's viewing.

If you're wondering, "What the fruitpaste is CHAT ROULETTE?", here's a short description from Wikipedia:

Chatroulette is a website that pairs random strangers for webcam-based conversations. Visitors to the website randomly begin an online chat (video and text) with another visitor. At any point, either user may leave the current chat by initiating another random connection.

I don't know about you, but the idea of interacting with strangers at random sounds like a breeding ground for explicit activity. Giggidy!

...OR a place where one will meet his true love! Awww! *insert heart sign here*

Do Your Ancestors Own iPhones?

Boon posted it like a day or 2 on the fan page.

For those who may not know what Hell Bank Notes are used for, here's a quick explanation from Wiki:

Hell bank notes are a more modern form of joss paper, an afterlife monetary paper offering used in traditional ancestor veneration, that can be printed in the style of western or Chinese paper. In Chinese cultures, the hell bank note has no special name or status, and is simply regarded and referred to as yet another form of joss paper (冥幣, 紙錢, 金紙).

Indeed, there's an app for EVERYONE! Living or otherwise.

Gone Viral: "In today's news, my colleagues are fighting over a twinkie"

I'm sure the news reader was saying something along the lines about the level of violence in today's society. Example provided.

Professionalism at its best.

Episode 13: School's Out!

Excuse the eye bags.

We're done with our TIP module! At least right now, we'll be able to work more on TIPMedia.net without the hassle of fortnight reports or school related matters.

Woohoo? Not so.

National Service is creeping up on us soon and that means we may have a tough time updating the blog, facebook, and such.

Nevertheless, we have some items up our sleeves! A production or 2 in the coming weeks! And of course iPhone applications!

Gone Viral: Is that how you play on a Wii Fit?

I think the video title says it all: 'Embarrassing Wii Fit Olympics *FAIL*'

It was filmed from an Australian talk show.

Is there a problem with their technique?

Gone Viral: Bollywood Star, MRT Style

Been really excited to post under our new section called Gone Viral! This is where we post up videos or any multimedia that has made the talk of the town.

And what better way than to post up this great piece of talent, who must I add has huge ca-hones to pull-off such a performance in one of the world's most monotonous subway.

May he be talent spotted one day for his 'back-bending' routine (get it? get it?).

I'm not particularly sure who filmed it but there's another clip of probably the same guy here which was filmed by Angela Ho.

Hope it gets you through the week!
